ENVIRONMENTAL POLICY
1. ENVIRONMENTAL RESPONSIBILITY COMMITMENT
Our aim is to fulfill our environmental responsibilities and continuously reduce our environmental impact while enhancing our competitiveness by maintaining high quality. We are committed to conducting our operations in a sustainable manner and achieving the environmental goals we set each year.
2. RESOURCE EFFICIENCY AND POLLUTION PREVENTION
We work to continuously reduce our environmental impact by preventing pollution at its source and using natural resources more efficiently. We implement measures to ensure the rational and sustainable use of water, monitor the quality of treated wastewater, and ensure its safe return to the environment. Additionally, we manage water scarcity risks and support water conservation efforts.
3. AIR QUALITY MANAGEMENT
We aim to improve air quality around our operations. This involves monitoring and reducing emissions of pollutants such as particulate matter, volatile organic compounds, and nitrogen oxides to enhance and maintain air quality.
4. NOISE EMISSIONS
We strive to reduce noise pollution. We regularly monitor noise levels within and outside our facilities and implement noise reduction measures. To minimize noise pollution from our activities, we use quieter machinery and operational improvements.
5. WASTE REDUCTION AND ZERO-WASTE APPROACH
We aim to minimize waste at its source and increase the recycling and recovery of generated waste. During disposal, we reduce environmental impacts, encourage the reuse of materials and products, and adopt a zero-waste approach to minimize the environmental effects of our waste.
6. SOIL QUALITY
To protect soil health, we are committed to preventing soil pollution, controlling chemical usage, and applying responsible waste management practices. We employ sustainable land management practices to maintain soil productivity and health.
7. BIODIVERSITY, LAND USE, AND DEFORESTATION
In line with our commitment to preserving biodiversity and managing land use sustainably, we avoid activities that lead to deforestation. We participate in projects that support sustainable land use and biodiversity conservation. We aim to minimize the negative impacts of our activities on animals while supporting biodiversity and ensuring animal welfare.
8. ENERGY EFFICIENCY AND REDUCTION OF GREENHOUSE GAS EMISSIONS
We aim to reduce greenhouse gas emissions by implementing energy efficiency projects and increasing the use of renewable energy sources. We enhance energy efficiency through low-energy-consuming machinery and operational savings. Greenhouse gas emissions are monitored and reported, and we continuously review our emission reduction targets.
9. CHEMICAL MANAGEMENT
We request "Safety Data Sheets" for all purchases and sample supplies and share approved forms with all employees. We analyze the hazards and risks associated with chemicals and evaluate alternative chemicals that are both economically and performance-effective to reduce these risks. We implement necessary occupational health and safety measures to prevent employee exposure to chemicals and provide regular training on chemical management. We ensure compliance with national and international standards in the storage, transportation, and disposal of chemicals.
10. ENVIRONMENTALLY SUSTAINABLE SUPPLY CHAIN
We are committed to sourcing materials and raw materials from suppliers that practice environmentally responsible methods. We develop sustainable business relationships by transparently sharing our efforts to reduce carbon footprints and emissions with our partners.
