Disa Automotive is an established player in the auto parts manufacturing industry since 1990. With years of experience in the production of automotive parts, the company has been exporting to international markets since 2003. Disa is committed to delivering quality products, competitive prices, and exceptional service to its customers. Disa Automotive's production plant, situated in Ergene, Tekirdag, Turkey, adheres to the IATF 16949 automotive quality system standards. The company's sales office in Stuttgart, Germany, is responsible for catering to the needs of its customers in Europe and North America. Disa Automotive exports 100% of its production to these regions.

PRODUCTION PLANT

Disa Automotive's modern production plant, which covers an area of 28,000 m2 with a closed area of 14,000 m2, enables the company to manufacture premium quality automotive parts for its customers.

The production plant houses a variety of advanced machinery, including CNC turning machines, multi-axis machining centers, CNC gear cutting-hobbing-shaping machines, CNC cylindrical grinding, CNC gear generating grinding machines, and special-purpose production machinery. The implementation of the 5S methodology and continuous improvement principle in all areas of the production plant ensures a systematic and efficient production flow. Moreover, an integrated ERP system and Industry 4.0 applications are used to continuously monitor the production and measurement values of the products, ensuring consistent quality.

PRODUCTS

The production range includes gears, precision machined parts, and steering and suspension parts.

For the automotive industry; transmission parts, differential system parts, gearbox and gearbox components, steering box parts, e-mobility components, electric motor transmission parts, hydraulic pump system parts, and tow bar system parts are manufactured. All these products are manufactured under serial production conditions according to the technical drawings, specifications, special requirements received from the customers.

In addition, we provide our customers with over 5.000 different parts for passenger cars and light commercial vehicles in our steering and suspension parts catalog for the automotive aftermarket.

TECHNOLOGY and AUTOMATION

To ensure the highest quality production and increased efficiency, Disa Automotive has installed automated loading and unloading systems within the production plant. These systems include 6-axis robots, gantry-loaded machines, special automation systems, and machines with bar feeders to ensure uninterrupted production 24/7.

Continuity of production is maintained by employing experienced and competent personnel. The human factor plays a crucial role in production through continuous production follow-ups, flawless quality control systems, and the use of high-efficiency IT systems.

Production Steps

The planned production stages from order to shipment are as follows:

01. Purchase Order

When a new purchase order is received from the customer, Disa Automotive sales checks the capacity plans from the ERP planning system and determines the shipment date according to the customer delivery date requirements and production capacity. Then, the order confirmation is prepared through the ERP system. This order confirmation is emailed to the customers. The order confirmation shows the production time and expected shipment dates from the Disa production plant.

02. Production

As the order is entered in the ERP system, the production and purchasing quantities are determined by running the planning system according to the specified shipment date and product stock status. Purchased items are ordered and sourced from approved suppliers. The supplied steel bars and pipes are loaded on the machinery and the relevant production stages are completed. During this whole process, all stages of production are followed live by the system and production stages are completed in a way that the quality assurance requirements are fully met.

03. Final Control and Packaging

After all stages of production are completed, the products goes through final quality control process. Then, the products are packaged (polybags, corrugated carton boxes, retunable or non-retunable PET-plastic trays - seperators, wooden pallet boxes and Euro - USA size pallets) according to customers requests.

04. Delivery

Packaged products are shipped to the customer by the delivery method requested by the customer (FCA, FOB, CIF, DAP, DPP, etc.). Disa Automotive just-in-time delivery performance is over 99.5%.
